Hello! My name is Melker Nordström and I am the one who runs Petror.se as part of the company Melker Nordström. I am 18 years old and found my first cache 12 years ago, when I was six years old. Since that day, my family and I have been hooked and Geocaching will always be close to my heart. So many walks, vacations and bike rides that have been gilded thanks to this wonderful hobby!

However, it took until the summer of 2019 before I published my first very own cache. It was a mystery that was extremely difficult and I don't think the people who managed to solve and log it thought it was very funny, which resulted in me archiving it after about a year.

 

I immediately got hooked on hiding my own caches and it wasn't long before there were caches hidden everywhere in my neighborhood. Even today, I find it so exciting when the phone vibrates and one of my caches has been found.

 

In 2022, I realized that I thought Sweden lacked a store that offered a range that was both broad and affordable. After a lot of research and work, this resulted in Petror.se being inaugurated on March 16, 2023.

I run the company and the shop all by myself on the side of school and my main goal is to inspire and help more people to discover the excitement and joy of Geocaching and mainly the joy of hiding own caches.

Now Petror.se also targets more than just all Geocachers out there, but Geocaching will always be the area I am most passionate about.
